Tom brings over 20 years of extensive experience within the civil engineering and utility sectors. He began his career in the water industry where he developed a dual specialism in education and IT business development. This unique foundation allowed him to spend several years creating bespoke IT solutions with a heavy focus on commercial administration and operational efficiency.

In 2009 Tom transitioned into a dedicated commercial role as a Quantity Surveyor within the Power business. Committed to professional excellence he returned to his studies to sharpen his expertise earning a 1st class RICS accredited degree. As the business expanded Tom took the lead of a highly effective commercial department. His experience spans long term Connections and R&M frameworks as well as individual infrastructure contracts for both public and private sectors. His versatile background covers the full utility spectrum including water gas electric and telecoms.

Throughout his career Tom has maintained a keen focus on systems development ensuring the integration of innovative technologies to drive commercial efficiency. In his latest chapter he is spearheading the formation of a new commercial team for JDT Power. Tom is focused on pushing the business forward through a strategy rooted in robust business development and operational excellence.
